Louise Marie Lee, 98, Punta Gorda, FL and formerly of Fairbury died Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Hampton Manor, Punta Gorda, FL.\

Ms. Lee was born March 21, 1927 in Dewitt, IL the daughter of Albert C. and Emma E. Moody Bunting.  She married Bruce V. Lee on August 24, 1946 in Bloomington, IL.  He preceded her in death on May 25, 2024.

Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (Gerry) McDowell, Deltona, FL, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two daughters, Caroll Hernandez and Brucetta Lee, two brothers and one sister.

Ms. Lee was a graduate of Fairbury High School.  She formerly owned and operated Lee's Tastee-Freez Drive-In and later Lee's Bowling and Lounge, both in Fairbury.  She also drove bus for the Pontiac school district.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 10:45 am Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury followed by her funeral at 11:00 am.  Pastor Charles Mendoza will officiate.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
