Obituary
COLFAX - Lylith M. Harms, 93 of Chillicothe and formerly of Colfax died at 4:30 PM, Sunday, August 27, 2006 at OSF St. Clare Home, Peoria Heights, IL.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harms will be 11 AM, Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the Colfax Christian Church, Colfax with Pastor Dan Jassman officiating. Burial will take place in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Visitation will be from 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM prior to services at the church on Thursday.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax has charge of arrangements.
Lylith was born March 27, 1913 in Colfax, a daughter to John and Ethel (Bunn) Scholl. She married Verne "Sox" Harms in St. Charles, MO on September 28, 1940. He Died April 15, 1980.
Surviving are 2 sons, David (Jane) Harms, Chillicothe, IL and Duane Harms, Bluffton, SC. Also surviving are 1 sister Carolyn Berkley, McLean, IL , 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother Hartsel Scholl.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to the Colfax Christian Church, Colfax, IL.
Mrs. Harms enjoyed spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
