Obituary
Lynn Bolden, 80, of rural Fairbury died at 8:46 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at his residence in rural Fairbury.
Mr. Bolden was born July 31, 1927 in Ripley, TN, the son of Claude and Carrie (Lock) Bolden. He married Thelma Thurmond November 28, 1953 in Hernando, MS. She survives in Fairbury.
Also surviving are four daughters, Shirl Barnes, Chenoa, Dianne Smith, Missouri, Nancy Gernentz, Fairbury, Virginia Compton, Oklahoma, one son Lynnard Bolden, Pontiac, one brother, Jerry Bolden, Orlando, FL, six grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one brother and one great granddaughter.
A private family service will be scheduled at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Lynn Bolden Memorial Fund.
