Cooksville – Madge G. Gibson, 83, of Cooksville passed away at 6:47am, May 6, 2013 at Asta Care Center, Colfax.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Memorials may be made to the Cooksville Church of Christ or Eastern McLean County Ambulance Association.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Madge was born July 9, 1929 in Arrowsmith the daughter of Maynard and Anna Dora Frohmn Tarter.
She married Jack E. Gibson on January 27, 1950 in Arrowsmith. He died April 30, 2008.
Surviving are her son, Mike (Peg) Gibson of Saybrook; daughter, Linda (Don) Sears of Lexington; five grandchildren, Robert Sears, Brandy Hope, Kristy Griffith, Rachael Sandage, and Michael Gibson; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, and her daughter Julia Gibson.
Madge was a bookkeeper for 27 years for Lowell Supply in Bloomington.
