Fairbury – Mae Collins, 69, of Fairbury passed away 6:04pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Cremation has been accorded.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the family.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Mae was born November 17, 1948, in Athens, County, OH the daughter of Albert and Mable Guess Hunter.

She married Donald Collins on October 19, 1968. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Shane (Michelle) Collins and Gina (Dave Icenogle) Collins both of Fairbury, Carrie (Adam) Followell of Forrest, and Heather Collins of Fairbury; grandchildren, Dustin Collins, Treavor Bazzell, Tyler (Kylie) Followell, Chase Collins, Jesse Bazzell, Trenton Followell, Alex Collins, Miranda Collins, Tate Followell, Morgan Collins, Mable Collins, Madelyn Collins,; great-grandchildren, Ryan Collins and Emmerson Followell; siblings, Donald and John Hunter, Sandy Shonborn, and Becky (Charlie Blackstone) McWhorter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Gary Hunter.
