Obituary

Chenoa- Margaret K. Hetman, 82, of Chenoa passed away at 6:05 pm, Thursday, October 23, 2008 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, IL.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, October 27 also at the memorial home in Chenoa with Pastor Rob McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa.

Mrs. Hetman was born February 21, 1926, in Grabatz, Romania a daughter to Jakob and Rosalia (Mandeck) Kerner. She married Peter Jakob Hetman on February 14, 1948 in Salzburg, Austria. He passed away on January 26, 1992.

Survivors include three sons; Peter (Marsha Lynn) Hetman Jr., St. Joseph, IL, Walter (Vicki) Hetman, Chenoa, Paul Hetman (Melissa Akers), Chenoa, one sister; Mary Friedmansky, Bloomington.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Mindy (Steve) Gray, Concord, NC, Marisha Hetman, Concord, NC, Natasha Maiden (Kevin Lukar), Mantua, OH, Sonia (Eric) Wernsman, Sumter, SC, Andrei Hetman (Amber McReynolds), Chenoa, Joshua Hetman (Jessica Cook), Chenoa, Jacob Hetman, Chenoa, step grandson; David Jones, Phoenix, AZ, seven great grandchildren; Amber, Genevieve, Hannah and Alexander Maiden, Clayton Meisner, Ryan Wernsman, Logan Wernsman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was always the center of her life. She was always kind and generous to all especially with her love and cooking. We rejoice in sharing the eighty two years of her life.
