Obituary
Margaret "Marge" Scholl, 92 a resident at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury formerly of Colfax died at 8:25 pm, Monday, September 29, 2008 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 am, Friday, October 3, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor with Rev. Stephen Goodwin officiating. Burial will take place in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Marge was born July 15, 1916 in Merna, IL the daughter of Chris and Hulda (Gerth) Houser. She married Herbert Scholl August 7, 1938 in Bloomington; he passed away July 12, 2002.
Survivors include one son; Robert (Linda) Scholl, Bonfield, IL, three grandchildren; Kerri (Todd) Robinson, Bonfield, Heather (Matt) Ward, Naperville, David Scholl, DeKalb, and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
Mrs. Scholl was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor and very active in DORCAS as well as serving as a volunteer for the American Red Cross during WWII. She loved the farm and playing an active role as a farmer's wife.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury or St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor.
