Margaret Ziegenhorn, 90, Fairbury died at 2:05am Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the 1st United Methodist Church, Fairbury with the Rev. Charles McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:15 am Saturday at the church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorials be given to the 1st United Methodist Church; Fairview Haven Nursing Home, both of Fairbury or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Ziegenhorn was born March 4, 1920 in Fairbury, IL the daughter of Roscoe and Eva Mae Gibb Combes. She married Clifford Ziegenhorn on October 26, 1941 in Fairbury, IL. He died on September 5, 1996.

Surviving is one daughter, Evette Marie (Richard) McCollum, Shalimar, FL, one son, Clifford "C.B." (Sandi) Ziegenhorn Jr., Eden, UT, one daughter-in-law, Jan Ziegenhorn, Fairbury, IL, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by one son, Ross Ziegenhorn, one sister, Mary Eleanor Woodruff, one brother, Frank Combes, and two grandchildren, Clint and Marci Ziegenhorn.

Mrs. Ziegenhorn was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church, Fairbury, the women's club, CLSC, Browning Club and several social clubs. Her hobbies included reading and music.
