Obituary
Chenoa: Margarito "Margo" Ramirez, 81, Chenoa died 3:35pm Friday, March 16, 2007 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Bloomington.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30am Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chenoa with Fr. Carl LoPresti officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Chenoa. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa where a rosary will be recited at 4:00pm.
Mr. Ramirez was born October 10, 1925 at Crowell, TX. The son of Teburcio and Maria Ramos Ramirez. He married Beatriz "Bea" Sanchez December 30, 1949 at Del Rio, TX. She survives at Chenoa.
Also surviving are three daughters: Diane (Melvin Kindelberger) Miller, Chenoa, Sandra (Jerry) Augsburger, Marion, IL and Rebecca "Becky" Koenig, Chenoa. Four sisters: Francisca Borrego, Plainview, TX, Gilberta (Dionicio) Martinez, Bloomington, Presentacion (Lorenzo) Garcia and Teresa (Domingo) Carranza, both of Chenoa, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
He had been employed by GM & O Railroad and later Illinois Central Railroad for 38 years. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chenoa, the Knights of Columbus and Saddle Club both of Pontiac. He loved horses and trail riding.
The family suggests memorials be given to the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chenoa.
