Obituary
Fairbury – Margie Gray Conn, 90, of Fairbury passed away at 2:22pm, Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, with her son Pastor Michael Gray officiating.
Burial will be in Cropsey Cemetery, Cropsey.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
Margie was born January 28, 1920 in Welch's Creek, KY the daughter of Wesley and Lottie Embry Henderson. They preceded her in death.
She first married Marvin Gray in 1937. He died in 1972. She then married Ellis L. Conn in 1993. He died in 2001.
Surviving are her sons, Roger Gray of Springfield, MO, Gary (Kay) Gray of Hot Springs, AR, James Dwight (Beth) Gray of Springfield, MO, Michael (Leila) Gray of Niles, MI and Mark Gray of Fairbury; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son Larry Gray, 5 grandchildren, and 3 sisters.
Margie worked in dietary at Fairbury Hospital and also was a mail clerk at the Cropsey Post Office.
She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
