Obituary
Colfax: Margie L. Wyant 73 of Colfax died at 6:11am Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City, IL
The funeral service for Mrs. Wyant will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at the Colfax United Methodist church, Colfax with Bruce Yentes officiating. Burial will take place at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Colfax.
Margie was born September 25, 1932, A daughter to George F. and Lena Mae (Goff) Brink. She married Kenneth Wyant December 26, 1949 in Arrowsmith. He survives.
Surviving are two daughters; Janice (Guy) Fincham and Susan (Rick) Norton both of Colfax. One son; Randall Wyant (Donna Boundy) of Gibson City. One sister; Betty (Dick) Applegate, Atlanta, IL, 8 Grandchildren; Sarah Fincham (Roby Schwartz), Bryce Fincham, Ashleigh Fincham, Nathan Fincham, Christopher Wyant, Dana Wyant, Derek Norton, Courtney Norton and one Great Grandson; Ian Schwartz.
She was preceded in death by one daughter; Pamela Wyant and one brother.
Mrs. Wyant was the Co-Owner of Wyant Service Station in Colfax where she worked until retirement in 1993. She enjoyed spending time with family & friends and square dancing with Kenny.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Wiley Cemetery, Colfax or the charity of the donor's choice.
