Marie A. Widlacki, 73 of Fairbury, passed away at 1:25 am, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury, IL with Pastor Tom Krieger officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Friday, June 18, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.

Services in Chicago will take place at 10 am, Monday, June 21, 2010 at Sheehy and Son's Funeral Home, Palos Heights, IL with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Gardens South, Worth, IL. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm, Sunday, June 20, 2010 also at the funeral home in Palos Heights.

Marie was born August 19, 1936 in Chicago, IL the daughter of H. James and Evon A. (Buytaert) Koglin. She married Steve A. Widlacki on September 14, 1957 in Evergreen Park, IL. He passed away on December 6, 2005.

Surviving are two sons; Stephen H. (Nancy) Widlacki, Fairbury, IL, James R. Widlacki, Florida, daughter in-law; Kim Widlacki, Crestwood, IL, two sisters; Barbara (Robert) Lewis, Visalia, CA, Helen Rietow (Ron Ruetz), Apache Junction, AZ, six grandchildren; Lindsay, Stevie and Simon Widlacki and Jessica, Erica and Alissa Widlacki.

The family suggests that memorials be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church "Kitchen Fund", Fairbury, IL.

Marie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury and involved with many clubs and organizations in the Fairbury area. She was an avid reader and a servant to many. Her Life was a living testimony that inspired those who knew and loved her. She loved Jesus with all her heart, living as a true example by her actions. Her grandchildren were her life, loving them and supporting them was never an effort because "God Has Been So Good To Me".
