Martha E. "Betty" Pulliam 82, of Meadows formerly of Farmington passed away at 11:35 pm, Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Meadows.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community Chapel, Meadows with Pastor Jane Roeschley officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service also at the chapel in Meadows. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to Chenoa Baptist Church, Alzheimer's Association or donor's choice.
Betty was born September 30, 1933 in Flora, IL the daughter of George and Opal (Kneff) Wood. She married Charles R. Pulliam on May 23, 1954 in Flora. He survives in Meadows. Her parents preceded her in death.
Other survivors include three children, Paula (Frank) Frangella, Oak Forest, IL; Curtis (Joni) Pulliam, Utica, NY; George (Pam) Pulliam, Cumming GA; four grandchildren, Avery, Christopher, Nicholas and Kate.
Betty was a graduate of Flora High School and was employed as a bank teller in Flora; Hanna City and Canton for many years. She was an active member of the American Baptist Church.
