Obituary
Martha R. Roth, 100, Fairbury, died at 9:47 am Monday, May 19, 2014 at Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in the South Apostolic Christian Cemetery, rural Fairbury.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45 am Friday at the church. The family suggest memorials be given to Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury or Gateway Woods, Klopfenstein Road, Leo, IN.
Mrs. Roth was born January 21, 1914 in Goodfield, IL the daughter of Charles and Salome Nohl Knapp. She married John L. Roth on December 5, 1936 in Pontiac, IL. He died on May 26, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Corinne (William) Zbinden, Cropsey, IL, Nancy, (Glen) Pfeifer, Westfield, IN, two sons, J. Lincoln (Debra) Roth, Fairbury, IL, Samuel C. Roth, Overland Park, KS, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Wilma Knapp.
She is preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Roth had faithfully attended the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury.
