Obituary
Marvin F. Maier, 87, of Fairbury died at 10 pm, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Mr. Maier was born April 11, 1925 in Strawn the son of Andrew and Tillie (Mueller) Maier. His parents and one brother, Donald Maier preceded him in death. Two nephews, one niece and cousins survive him.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday also at the memorial home in Fairbury.
The family suggests memorials be directed to Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Mr. Maier was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Fairbury.
