Obituary
Colfax – Marvin A. Wyant, 56, of Colfax passed away on January 4, 2010 at 4:25am at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Funeral service for Marvin will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Colfax Christian Church. Pastor Dan Jassman will be officiating. Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Visitation will be held from 4-8:00pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
Marvin was born October 27, 1953 in Bloomington the son of Charles and Doris Harsha Wyant. His father preceded him in death.
Surviving are his mother, Doris Wyant of Colfax; daughters, Jennifer (Nick) O'Neall of Cooksville and Wendy (David) Sessions of Heyworth; grandchildren, Austin, Jacob and Megan O'Neall and Carley and Nathan Hail; sister, Debra Wyant of Normal; significant other Debbie Getty of Colfax; and several nieces and nephews.
Marvin was a member of the Colfax Christian Church and the National Turkey Wild Federation.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the NTWF or the donor's choice of charity.
Marvin was a special guy to all of his family. His friendship, orneriness and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
