Fairbury – Mary Katherine Dohleman, 92, of Fairbury, passed away at 3:10am, March 28, 2023, at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana.

Her funeral will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 8, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chenoa. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00am, on Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chenoa.

Mary was born December 25, 1930, in McLean County, the daughter of Carl and Lila (Rhoda) Wendling. She married Lee Dohleman on June 12, 1949. He died in 1993.

Surviving are her son Tom (Lisa) Dohleman; son-in-law, Earl Kiser; grandchildren, Cassandra Kiser and Alexis Dohlman; sisters, Phyllis Reeves, Sharon Barrett, Ellen Jo Shiflett, an Lois Morris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Robin C. Kiser, and one brother, Dallas Wendling.

Mary was an avid church goer at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chenoa. She loved playing bridge with friends. Mary moved to Fairbury to be close to her sisters. She loved and adored her grandchildren and loved being a grandma.
