Obituary
Mary C. Giffhorn, 84, of Normal; formerly of Chenoa area passed away at 7:40 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Full Gospel Church of Praise, Bloomington with Pastor David Pierce officiating.
A private inurnment will take place in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa has charge of arrangements.
Mary was born December 25, 1927 in Nashville, TN; survivors include two sisters, Lola McCarty and Kathy (Frank) Evans both of Murfreesboro, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, one brother, two sisters and one grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Faith in Action, Bloomington.
