Colfax – Mary Ruth Guse, 92, of Colfax, passed away at 11:15am, September 7, 2017, at Aperion Care of Bloomington.

Cremation has been accorded.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, September 14, 2017, at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Anchor.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

Mary was born June 1, 1925, in Danville, the daughter of Harold Sheridan and Ruth Lucille Street Unger.

She first married Wilbur Beard on October 12, 1947. He died May of 1993. She then married Edward Guse on September 17, 1994. He survives.

Also surviving are her son, Sheridan (Linda) Beard; daughter, Susan Staton both of Bloomington; step-daughters, Deanna Biehl and Susan (Leland) Lott; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, grandson, and brother.

Mary was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor.
