Obituary
Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury; with Pastor Michael Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Twp. Cemetery, Forrest.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 also at the funeral home in Fairbury. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
Mary Lee was born April 19, 1940, in Peoria; the daughter of Rev. Ralph C. and Ida Ruth (Parkinson) Glose. She married Gary D. Honegger on February 28, 1960, in Roseville. Her husband Gary died on June 1, 2009. Her parents also preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, Steven (Mary Laschober) Honegger, Bethesda, MD; David (Cindy) Honegger, McLean, IL; Darren (Debra) Honegger, Bloomington; Michael (Mary) Honegger, Third Lake, IL; one daughter, Amy Schaffer, Fisher, IL; five grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Mary Lee was a member of the Forrest United Methodist Church. For those that knew Mary Lee, she had a sense of humor and wants everyone to know that she is still "Just Peachy."
