Chenoa – Mary E. Mason, 90, of Chenoa died at 7:04am, Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac.

Funeral services will be 1pm, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with Pastor Daryl Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa.

Visitation will be 11 am to 12:45pm, prior to the service on Saturday also at the funeral home in Chenoa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to OSF Hospice of Livingston County or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Mary was born December 26, 1932, in Pontiac; a daughter to Howard and Mabel (Branz) Schott. She married Warren "Rab" Mason on December 25, 1951.  He preceded her in death on March 31, 1984. Her parents, eight brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Myron (Margie Tessin-Mason) Mason of Eugene, OR; one daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Lucas of Blackstone, IL; one brother, Ellis Schott of Braidwood, IL; five grandchildren, Brandon (Jenni) Mason, Shayleen Mason, Dacota (Jeremy) Clark, Kellina Tessin-Mason, Nicole Tessin-Mason, and five great - grandchildren.

Mary was employed at Johnson Press in Pontiac; for over 40 years.  She was a lifelong member of Chenoa Baptist Church, Chenoa. She loved her church and was an active member until she was unable to attend anymore.  Her sweet smile and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
