Obituary
Matilda A. Hoerr, 95, Fairbury died at 11:58pm Saturday, January 22, 2011 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:30 to 10:00 am Thursday at the church.
Miss Hoerr was born February 5, 1915 in Forrest, IL the daughter of Emil and Marie Brenkman Hoerr.
Surviving is one niece, Alma J. Bolliger, Strawn, IL, one nephew, Wayne (Nancy) Ifft, Overland Park, KS, six great nieces and nephews, Mark (Ruby) Bolliger, Brian (Nancy) Bolliger, Bruce (Lisa) Bolliger, Joyce Bolliger, Kim (Kurt) Cronenwett, Holly (Pete) Wiedner, fourteen great great nieces and nephews and three great great great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by four sisters, Katie Hoerr, Caroline Hoerr, Gertrude Ifft, and Sallie Hoerr, three infant brothers, one infant sister, one great great niece and one great great nephew.
Miss Hoerr had attended the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest.
The family suggests memorials be given to Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury
