Fairbury – Mayme H. Hearne, 103, of Fairbury, passed away at 7:02am, February 8, 2017, at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.

Visitation will be held from 4-7:00pm, Friday, February 10, 2017, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Easter Seals or American Heart Association.

Mayme was born July 17, 1913, in West Station, TX, the daughter of Jim and Amanda L. Ring Harrison.

She married John P. Hearne on January 22, 1933, in Juarez, Mexico. He passed away on May 22, 1974.

Surviving are her daughters, Gwen Stork of Fairbury, Susan Stork of Chatsworth, and Kathy Hirtzig of Fairbury; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sons, one daughter, and three great-grandchildren.

Mayme was a homemaker, worked for Lockhead Martin during WWII, and CTS, Fairbury.

She is a member of First Baptist Church of Fairbury.
