Obituary
Megan Lorna Ziegenhorn, 87, Fairbury died at 2:27 am Monday, July 25, 2011 at her residence in Fairbury.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, July 29, 2011 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday also at the memorial home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the charity of their choice.
Mrs. Ziegenhorn was born July 21, 1924 in Cardiff, Wales, Great Britain, the daughter of Albert and Henrietta Evans Coleman. She married John W. Ziegenhorn on June 6, 1945 in Cardiff, Wales. He survives in Fairbury, IL
Also surviving are four sons, David Ziegenhorn, Texas, Steve (Leann) Ziegenhorn, Peoria, AZ, John (Carolyn) Ziegenhorn, Lake Elsinore, CA, Gary (Rhonda) Ziegenhorn, Seville, OH, thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one sister, Joan Sullivan, Cardiff, Wales.
She is preceded in death by one infant son.
Mrs. Ziegenhorn was affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church, Fairbury and had been employed at Walton's Department Store in Fairbury for many years.
