Melody A. Wagoner, 70, of Colfax, passed away at 11:20 pm, Sunday, December 6, 2020 at her residence in Colfax.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, December 10, 2020, in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax; with Pastor Dan Jassman officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11am to 12:30 pm prior to the graveside service at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax.  Casual attire is requested by the family, blue jeans and your favorite t-shirt are ok.  Guests will be limited to 10 at a time, social distancing and masks will also be required following the CDC recommendations.  Memorials may be directed to Network Bible Fellowship, Bloomington.

Melody was born September 16, 1950 in Normal; the daughter of Voit and Betty (Burgess) Ferguson. She married Ricky Wagoner on September 16, 1976 in Colfax. Her husband survives in Colfax. Her parents and one sister, Sandra Ferguson preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Wagoner of Colfax; one sister, Marlene (John) Holt of Bloomington; and six nephews.

Melody was a 1968 graduate of Octavia High School, Colfax. She had been employed by Country Financial, Bloomington for many years.  Melody and her husband were members of the Colfax Christian Church and more recently attended Network Bible Fellowship in Bloomington; where she served her Lord and Savior with great passion and commitment.

Melody was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan and deeply loved her many pets throughout the years.  She loved traveling across North America on many motorcycle trips with her husband.  The Wagoner's reached 47 states, Canada, Novia Scotia and Alaska; all by way of a motorcycle.
