Chenoa: Merle King, 95 of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Chenoa, died at 12:15 PM, June 30, 2007 in Mesa, AZ.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 10:00AM in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
Merle was born September 4, 1911 in Chenoa a son of Jesse A. and Lula May Crabb King.
He first married Alberta Mae Carnine in 1949. She preceded him in death in 1992. He then married Shirley Dorman in 1993. She died in 2006.
Surviving are one son J. Daniel (Cheryl) King of New Mexico; one brother Lyle (Johnnie) King, Princeton, IL; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
