Chenoa - Mervin G. Huddleston, 68 of Galesburg formerly of Chenoa, passed away at 6:20am, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Allure of Galesburg.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of Mervin's life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family of Mervin G. Huddleston.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.

Mervin was born April 6, 1953 in Greenup, IL; the son of Marvin and Norma (Crews) Huddleston.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and one son, Cody Huddleston.

Survivors include one daughter, Dacia (Jose Jr.) Perez of Pontiac; two grandchildren, Ethan and Kendall Perez also of Pontiac; three sisters, Stella (Max) Casias of Modesto, CA; Suzie Huddleston of St. Louis, MO; Regina (Rusty) Marx of Peoria, IL; and one brother, Melvin (Kathleen) Huddleston of Pontiac.

Merv was a welder and stockman for over 30 years at Interlake of Pontiac.
