Obituary
Fairbury: Michael D. Snearly, 56, of Fairbury died at 2:45 A.M., Saturday, March 24, 2007 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, IL.
His visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Cremation rites will be accorded with a private family service to be scheduled at a later date.
Michael was born December 15, 1950 in Truman, AR a son to Vernon and Geneva (Conatser) Snearly. He married Janeen Aberle in 1969, Fairbury. He later married Ruth Meister on August 12, 2000 in Fairbury. She survives in Fairbury.
Also surviving are 1 daughter; Sherri (Craig) Crutcher, Fairbury 1 son; Russell (Tena) Snearly also of Fairbury, 3 step-sons; Eric (Julene) Ensign, Cortland, IL, David Beck, Champaign, IL and Joseph Beck, Fairbury, 3 sisters; Lynn (Ron) Oltmanns, Bloomington, Pat (Lyndall) Sutton, Beason, IL, Rhonda Peters, Cadiz, KY, 2 brothers; Perry(Jeanine) Snearly, Mt. Zion, IL, David (Rita) Snearly, Macon, IL, 1 grandmother Mae Conatser, Marked Tree, AR., 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.
His parents and one brother, Russell Snearly preceded him in death.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Michael D. Snearly.
Mike was employed by the City of Fairbury water department and was a volunteer fireman for several years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
