Saunemin - Mildred Kuswik, 85 of Saunemin formerly of Chicago passed away at 6:23 pm, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her residence in Saunemin.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a family celebration at a later date.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Mildred Kuswik.

Mildred was born on April 5, 1936 in Wiewiec, Poland; the daughter of Wladyslaw and Magdalenna (Zurek) Jama.  She married Stanley J. Kuswik Sr on June 23, 1956 in Chicago.  Her husband preceded her in death.  Her parents, two brothers and one sister, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Stanley (Dawn) Kuswik Jr. and Sophie (Chachie) Kuswik both of Chicago; Casimir (Kim) Kuswik and Lisa Kuswik both of Saunemin; two sisters, Lucy (Robert) Potter, Lily Luczynski both of Surprise, AZ; one brother, Edward Jama of Diamond, IL; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
