Bloomington: Miloe M. Linman, 83, of Bloomington, died at 6:05 pm, Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Heritage Manor, Normal, IL.
A graveside service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa, with Pastor Dan Patterson officiating the service.
There will be no visitation, Duffy-Pils Memorial Home; Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Linman was born January 28, 1924 in Rockford, IL a son to Elim and Edna (Carlson) Linman. He married Lynette Johnson April 11, 1975 in Marion, OH. She Survives in Bloomington.
Also surviving are one son: Larry (Judy) Linman, Bourbonnais, IL, one daughter; Linda (Dean) Zimmerman, Summerfield, FL, two step-daughters; Tianne (Ken) Roy, Springfield, IL and Tamara Lisak, Normal, one step-son; Larry Winstead, Dallas, TX, five grandchildren; Emilly (Brad) John, Montgomery, IL, Carl Linman, Bradley, IL, Karin, Amelia & Johanna Linman all of Bourbonnais, IL, six step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Mailhes, Houston, TX, Cynthia (Mark) McDavid, Wilmore, KY, Cody Winstead, Dallas, TX, Ashley Winstead, Columbus, OH, Jason and Amanda Lisak, both of Normal, 2 great grandchildren; Elizabeth and Rosemary John, Montgomery, IL.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
In his early years, Miloe managed the Linman Floor Shop on 7th St. in Rockford, prior to his long career in the insurance industry (Prudential & Mutual of Omaha) in Ohio and Illinois where he received numerous awards. During his retirement years he took pleasure in working part-time for LabCorp of Bloomington. Miloe was also a member of the Moose lodge, Bloomington.
The family wishes to express thanks and gratitude to Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Normal for their care and attention during their father's convalescence. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Heritage Manor, Normal, IL or Ronald McDonald House Children's Charity.
