Miroslawa Sierra, age 82, passed away at 5:32am, Thursday, September 9, 2021 in her home in Chenoa, IL.

Miroslawa Sierra (Myra) was born on June 7, 1939 in Poland, a daughter of Steffan and Helena Marchuk.  They preceded her in death.  She remarried to Marco Sierra.  He preceded her in death in December 1993.

Myra was a technician at Motorola for many years.  She had worked there with her older sister, Halina Cukojevich.  She preceded her in death.  Myra liked to cook Polish foods and enjoyed knitting.

Miroslawa is survived by her loving children, Barbara (Alfredo A.) Perez of Cape Coral, FL., Richard E. (Jessica Campbell) Stanisz of Pontiac, IL., and Helena G. Sierra of Chenoa, IL.; 13 grandchildren, Rosalina Perez, Isabel Perez, Alfredo E. Perez, Richard Irvin, Angela Stanisz, Jessica Alex, Derrick (Imanni) Stanisz, Danielle (Jimmy) Stanisz, Hope Michael, Christain Stanisz, Abel Stanisz, Robert Campbell, Jr., Kaleigh Campbell and a granddaughter on the way, Journey Delacerda; 5 great-grandchildren, Lilliana C. Perez, Elliana M. Nicholas, Giovanni Stanisz, Izaac Ocampo and Mariana Ocampo.

A chapel service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at St. Adalbert's Catholic Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL 60714.
