Nancy R. Arnold, 82, of Fairbury, died at 2:30pm, Monday, November 17, 2014 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service at 11am, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Fairbury with Pastor Daryl Evans officiating. Inurnment will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:45am, prior to services at the church on Saturday. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nancy was born on September 27, 1932 in Bloomington; the daughter of Raymond and Rhea (Rouff) Eisenberg. She married Richard D. Arnold on May 11, 1952 in Bloomington. Her husband preceded her in death on August 31, 1995.

Survivors include two daughters, Julie (Robert) Printz of Fairbury; Suzanne Houchin of Seattle, WA; one brother, Edward Eisenberg of Bloomington; two sisters, Mary Lynn (Bill) Mullins and Mickey Julian both of Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Michael (Amber) Thomas of Normal; Marc (Mandy) Thomas of Arlington Heights, IL; Matthew (Stacy) Thomas of Lexington; Billy Printz of Fairbury; Richard Hogan of Cullom; Christine Hogan of Bloomington; Ronald Warmuth of Bloomington; Krista Hogan of Davis, CA; 5 great grandchildren, Colton, Cash and Cain Thomas; Katherine Thomas and Aiden Hogan.

Mrs. Arnold was a 1950 graduate of Bloomington High School. Nancy and her husband Dick owned and operated Dick's Double M Tap in Fairbury for many years. She enjoyed knitting and needlework in her spare time. She was known as "Baseball Nancy" to her nieces and nephews for her love of the game. Nancy loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren supporting them in all they did.
