Chenoa – Nancy Pickett, 79, of Chenoa, passed away at 4:35 am, March 16, 2026, at Evenglow Inn, Pontiac.

Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 pm, Friday, March 20, 2026, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the CNA Program at Livingston Area Careers Center at Pontiac High School or donor’s choice of charity.

Nancy was born July 9, 1946, of Chenoa, the daughter of Everett G. and Mary “Kathleen” Barnes Grider. She married Terry Lee Pickett on August 7, 1964, in Chenoa. He died July 13, 2018.

Surviving are her sons, Robert (Beverly) Pickett of Chenoa and John (Angie) Pickett of Pontiac; grandchildren, Abbie (Matt) Gross, Joseph Kauffman, Jordan (Isabella) Pickett, Nicholas (Cami) Kauffman, Haley (Austin) Phillips, Liam Pickett, Keely Pickett, Brynn Pickett; great-grandchildren, Clementine Phillips, Isla Pickett, Eleanor Kauffman; sisters, Kay Birch of Lexington, Mary Jo Heath of Chenoa, and Sue Dombrowski of Chenoa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Danny Grider and brothers-in-law, Bill Birch and Denny Heath.

Nancy graduated from Chenoa High School in 1964. She was the Bakery and Deli Manager at Don’s Red Fox.
