Obituary
Fairbury – Nancy Rogers, 77, of Fairbury, passed away at 1:35am, January 24, 2015 at Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Her funeral will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Fairbury. Pastor Steve Anderson will be officiating.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be from 4-6:0pm, Monday, January 26, 2015 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Fairbury or Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Nancy was born September 26, 1937 in Fairbury, the daughter of Thurman and Clara Livesay Rogers.
Surviving are her sister, Betty Collins of Normal; brother, Jack (Jan) Rogers of Streator; one niece; five nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Charles, one nephew, and one great-niece.
Nancy was a legal secretary for Si Dolgin and Wally Trezise. She last worked at the Walton Center for 20 years until she retired.
Nancy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairbury, where she was a Sunday school teacher for more than 40 years. She was also a past member of the REBEKAH Lodge.
