Forrest - Nathan Farris, 32, of Forrest, passed away at 5:22 pm, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Peoria.

His funeral service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.  Burial will follow the service in Strawn Cemetery, Strawn.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday, June 24, 2024, also at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Nathan Farris.

Nathan was born October 2, 1991 in Pontiac, the son of Dennis and Lisa (Hanshew) Farris.  He was preceded in death by his father, paternal and maternal grandparents, and one brother, Kyle Farris in 2013.

Survivors include his mother, Lisa Farris, of Forrest; one sister, Jaycie (Marcus Fehr) Farris of Fairbury; two brothers, Dylan (McKenzie Taylor) Farris and Austin Stork both of Forrest; half-brother Lonnie (Tana Schultz) Farris of Strawn; half-sister, Laurie (Jeff) Hoelscher of Gibson City; and many nieces and nephews.

Nathan enjoyed watching wrestling, nascar and football. Nathan was a Green Bay Packers football fan. He loved spending his time with his family.  Nathan was always the light of every room, always cracking jokes no matter how he felt.
