Obituary
Fairbury: Norma J. Hoffman, 88, Fairbury died at 9:20pm Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest with Ministers of the Church officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00pm Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45am Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Hoffman was born May 15, 1918 at Pontiac, IL. The daughter of Andrew and Katherine (Kuenzi) Zimmerman. She married Samuel N. Hoffman February 11, 1939 at Pontiac, IL. He died March 23, 2006.
Surviving are her children: Carol (Donald) Bazzell, Fairbury, Samuel (Mary) Hoffman, St. Augustine, FL, Robert Hoffman, Joliet, Barbara (Billy) Mashburn, Fairbury, Mary (John) Schmidgall, Salem, OR, Kenneth Hoffman, Fairbury, Diane (Dennis) Rassi, Forrest, Donna (Steve) Maurer, Cropsey, Janice (Randy) Ricketts, Camp Verde, AZ, Susan (Eddie) Goad, Fairbury, and Kurt (Tammy) Hoffman, Fairbury.
Also surviving are 40 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hoffman is preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.
She was a homemaker, member of the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
The family suggests memorials be given to OSF Hospice, Pontiac, Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury, or to the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest.
