Pamela D. Aberle, 58, of Fairbury, passed away at 3:40 am, Sunday, October 19, 2014 at her residence in Fairbury.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 23, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Fairbury with Pastor Floyd Blackard and Wayne Kurth officiating. Burial will follow in South Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family of Pamela Aberle for her grandchildren's education fund.
Pam was born January 1, 1956 in Fairbury; the daughter of Marvin and Dorothy (Cooper) Roth. She married Duane Aberle on September 6, 1975 in Fairbury. Her husband survives in Fairbury.
Other survivors include two sons, Craig (Kristen) Aberle of Natick, MA; Kyle Aberle of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Courtney Aberle of Fairbury; her parents, Marvin and Dorothy Roth of LaSalle, IL; one sister, Susan Cottrell of Bloomington; three brothers, Terry (Sandy) Roth of Bremen, IN; David (Lisa) Roth of Metamora, IL; Scott Roth of Fairbury; and two granddaughters; Pam's pride and joy, Ella and Annie Aberle.
Pam was a 1974 graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey High School. For many years Pam worked for Weber Plumbing and Heating in Fairbury and later was employed by State Farm Life Ins. Company, Bloomington. She was a member of first United Methodist Church of Fairbury.
Pam had a gift for making those around her feel loved and cared for; always putting other's needs before her own as a true act of love. Her unselfish, giving heart and ability to encourage her family and friends to follow their dreams will be deeply missed.
