Patricia Louise Chapman, 84, of Bloomington, formerly of Chenoa, died Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the Fox Creek Villas of Holly Brook, Bloomington.

A private family mass will be held.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, 302 Lincoln St., Chenoa, IL 61726, is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chenoa, or the Alzheimer's Association.

Pat was born May 17, 1934 in Padua, IL, the daughter of F. Gerald and Dorothy (Meyer) Whalen.  She married Charles Dale Chapman in September of 1956 in Chenoa.  He died November 19, 2015.

Survivors include three sisters, Norma Gremer, Urbana; Betty (Dale) Oltman and Marilyn (Gordon) Whitmar , all of Chenoa, and three brothers, Gerald (Sandy) Whalen, Lexington; David (Lynda) Whalen, Lee's Summit, Mo.; and James Whalen, Mahomet.

Other survivors include one son, Steven (Debra) Chapman of Chenoa; one daughter, Susan (David) Robb of Bloomington; one grandson, Rick (Cayce) Chapman of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents.  She started her career at Biasi's Drug Store, sold Avon and real estate for many years, and retired from the Bank of Chenoa where she was an officer.  Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
