Paul Allen Dearth , 74 of Pontiac, formerly of Chenoa; passed away at 9:20 am, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Accolade Health Center, Pontiac.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church of Pontiac; with Pastor Tom Goodell officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
A private family graveside inurnment will take place at a later date in Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Accolade Health Center, Pontiac or the First United Methodist Church of Pontiac.
Paul was born March 19, 1945 in Pontiac; the son of Harold and Lucille (Eymann) Dearth. His parents, Harold & Lucille; preceded him in death.
Survivors include his brother, Gary (Carol) Dearth of Pontiac; two nieces and one nephew, Audra Bohm, Adam (Afton) Dearth and Adelle (Nick) Masching all of Pontiac; 7 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews.
Paul served our country in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967 and finished his service at Letterman General Hospital, Presidio Army Installation in San Francisco, California. Paul was an over the road truck driver for over 38 years. Employed by Meier Trucking, Pontiac; for 30 years and J.B. Lee Trucking, Pontiac for over 8 years.
