Colfax- Paul Ferguson, 91, of Colfax, passed away at 3:30 am, June 11, 2018, at his residence.

His funeral will be held at 10:00am, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Pastor Patti Meyer will be officiating.

Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax, where military honors will be performed by the American Legion.

Visitation will be held form 5-7:00 pm, Friday, June 15, 2018, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Davis-Kerber American Legion Post, Colfax.

Paul was born May 24, 1927, in Colfax, the son of Buford and Quintella Kaingery Ferguson.

He married Charlotte Mire on November 17, 1954, in Colfax. She passed away on February 21, 2012.

Surviving are his great-nephew, Cameron Cobb of Charlotte, NC; great-great-nephew, Austin Cobb; niece, Christine Cobb of New Castle, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews, Terry and Thom Cobb.

Paul was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Davis-Kerber American Legion Post, Colfax, VFW, Fairbury,Am Vets, Fairbury, and 40 & 8.

He worked as a cheese maker for Zivney Cheese in Minonk for 40 years.
