Paul Hall, 91 of Le Roy and formerly of Fairbury, passed away at 12:10am, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, September 10, 2018 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Burial will follow at Avoca Twp. Cemetery, Fairbury with full military rites accorded by the Fairbury VFW and the American Legion Posts. His visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Fairbury VFW.

Mr. Hall was born October 2, 1926 in Muhlenburg County, KY, the son of David Edward and Mary Jane Baker Hall. He married Betty Mae Butler on January 18, 1947 in Paxton, IL.  She preceded him in death on February 11, 2017.

Survivors include four daughters, Diana (Vince) Puleo of Bayville, NJ, Paulette Mervine of St. Paul, MN, Patricia (Rennon) Elliott of Tuscon, AZ, and Darlene (Mark) Mundell of Normal, IL; one sister, Hazel Henderson of Angola, IN; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is also preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters and twin granddaughters.

Mr. Hall served his country in the US Navy from January 1944 until April 1946 aboard the USS Cassiopeia. He worked at Honegger Feed Mill and later at Fairbury Hospital.
