Pauline Grace Waters, 92, Bloomington and Fairbury died at 11:35 am Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at The Carriages of Bloomington.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 19, 2026 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury with Pastor Lyn Kern officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac.

Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:45 am Monday also at the church. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Waters was born January 19, 1934 in Pontiac, IL the daughter of Jesse and Clara Carlson Leach. She married Dean Waters on March 21, 1954 in Rowe, IL. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2017.

Survivors include one daughter, Penny (Terry) Rathbun, Bloomington, one son, Dean (Beth) Waters, Janesville, WI, four grandchildren, Brittany (Jeremy) Brown, Jessica Rathbun, Alyssa (Justin) Zimmerman, and Brandon (Tess) Waters, eleven great grandchildren, one brother, Lyle Leach, Pontiac, IL and a bonus daughter and son, Sheri and Gary Moser.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Deanna Sue Waters, three brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Waters was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury. Mrs. Waters was a homemaker who enjoyed her time working at the Grey Goose in Fairbury.
