Pearl E. Meister, 89, Fairbury died at 8:00 am Monday, April 12, 2010 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
A private graveside service will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 at East Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury with the ministers of the German Apostolic Christian Church officiating.
Mrs. Meister was born December 2, 1920 in Cropsey, IL the daughter of Tony and Olive Bachtold Friedman. She married Edward Meister on August 9, 1941 in Fairbury, IL. He died on July 6, 1997.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Harold Friedman, one grandson, Randall Slagel, and one great grandson, Drew Mueller.
Mrs. Meister was a member of the German Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to Futures Unlimited, Pontiac or the Shriners Children's Hospital, Chicago.
