Obituary
Forrest: Penny Sue Rogers, 48 of Forrest, died at 8:37 am Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at her residence after a brave battle with cancer.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 pm Saturday, February 24, 2007 with a memorial service to be held at 3 pm at the First Baptist Church of Fairbury, with Pastor Steve Anderson officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
Penny was born July 11, 1958 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Victor and Marcia (Brown) Kennison. She married Bill Rogers, May 20, 1977 in Rock Island, IL. He Survives in Forrest.
Also surviving are 2 sons; Billy (Holly) Rogers, Fairbury, Joshua Rogers, Forrest, 1 daughter; Shanna Rogers, Forrest, 1 granddaughter; Riley Sue Rogers, 1 grandson; Patrick Sancken both of Fairbury, 2 sisters; Tracy Countryman, Moline, Vicki Pfannenstiel, Clearwater, FL, 2 brothers; Gary Kennison, Rock Island, Bruce Kennison, Clearwater, FL.
Her parents and stepfather preceded her in death.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Penny Sue Rogers.

She always loved being out in the sun,
Whether it was watching her kids or going to the park,
She will always be remembered in our hearts.
