Obituary
Chenoa – Philip W. Brewer, Sr, 62, of Chenoa, passed away at 11:45am, March 7, 2015 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Pastor Mark Warren will be officiating.
Friends may greet the family from 10-12:00pm on Saturday at the
funeral home.
Memorials may be left to the family.
Philip was born November 11, 1952 in Bloomington the son of Charles Brewer.
He married Diana Hendershott on October 23, 2971 in Forrest. She survives.
Also surviving are his two sons, Philip Brewer, Jr of Pontiac and Patrick Brewer of Chenoa; granddaughter, Emma Brewer; two brothers Michael (Deborah) Brewer of CA and Russell (Eva) Brewer of WI; sister, Barbie Ann (Kenny) Henningsen of WI; many nieces and nephews; special Aunt Jerri Byrd of Pontiac; and special friend, Darin Weber of Pontiac.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandmother, Julia DeVore, and one brother, Vencil Brewer.
Philip was a jack of all trades including, a mechanic, a carpenter, and computers. There was nothing he couldn't do.
Philip was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.
