Obituary
Phyllis Wyant Birge, 75, Southaven, MS, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Southhaven.
Mrs. Birge was a retired Social Worker who enjoyed sewing, reading and spending
time with her grandchildren. The family will receive friends at a
catered reception from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Hernando Funeral
Home, Hernando, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax, IL with Pastor Patty Meyer officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Donald Birge.
Survivors include her daughters, Patti Howell of Hernando, MS and Nancy Jones (Mike) of Nesbit, MS; sister, Maxine Payne (Howard) of Fairbury, IL; brother, Wayne Wyant (Naomi) of Arrowsmith, IL; grandchildren, Heather Cook, Ryan Cross, Kassye Howell,
Cady Jones, Matthew Jones and Johnathan Jones.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wiley Cemetery or the Alzheimer's
Association.
