Colfax – Pia Langhoff, 53 of Colfax passed away on November 9, 2008 at 12:04 p.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Funeral will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Colfax United Methodist Church with visitation from 9-9:45a.m. Rev. Diane Yentes will be officiating. Cremation will be accorded following the service. Burial will take place at a later date at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.

The family suggests in Lieu of flowers memorials be made to an education fund for her children established at the Peoples State Bank of Colfax.

Pia was born on January 21, 1955 in Denmark the daughter of Erik and Norma Andersen Rasmussen. They preceded her in death. She married August Langhoff on June 17, 1977. He Survives. Also surviving are three sons; Jakob, Zachary and Caleb Langhoff all at home; one nephew Erik Rasmussen of Downs and her dog Buddy.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Pia was born in Denmark and came to the United States with her mother, father and brother. She and her mother became United States Citizens in 1998.
Pia was a teller at the Peoples State Bank of Colfax.
She was the BEST Wife, Mom and football fan ever, called home to early.
