Obituary
Presentacion Ramirez Garcia, 83 of Chenoa, passed away at 10:00 pm, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at her residence in Chenoa.
Funeral Mass will be 11 am, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chenoa with Father Carl LoPresti officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Chenoa.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 pm, Friday, June 22, 2012 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. There will be a rosary recited at 3:45 pm prior to the visitation. The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chenoa.
Presentacion was born November 21, 1928 in Crowell, TX the daughter of Tiburcio and Maria Ramos Ramirez. She married Lorenzo Garcia on December 5, 1953 in San Carlos, Mexico. He passed away March 26, 2011.
Survivors include one son; Ernest Garcia and two grandchildren, Anne Marie and Paul Lorenzo Garcia all of Fairbury; three sisters, Francisca Borrego of Plainview, TX; Gilberta Martinez of Bloomington; and Teresa (Domingo) Carranza of Chenoa and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Garcia was a full time homemaker. She was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church of Chenoa. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
