Colfax – Ralph J. Center, 92, of Sun City, AZ, formerly of Colfax, passed away August 15, 2018, in Sun City, AZ

Cremation has been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax with military honors performed by the Davis-Kerber American Legion Post.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

Ralph was born April 13, 1926, the son of Earl and Ethel Pirtle Center.

He married Iona Small and they had five children; April Murrell of Sun City, AZ, Nancy (Randy) Hinrichsen of Colfax, Marty (Doug) Reeves, of Towanda, Paul (Kathleen) Center of Normal, Lisa (Andrew) Kim of Chicago; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Iler and his brother, Earl "Buddy" Center.

Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Pacific Theater from 1944-1946.
