Ramona Jean Underwood , 88, of Chenoa, passed away at 4:48 pm, Friday, December 25, 2020 at Carle BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Ramona J. Underwood.

Ramona was born April 1, 1932 in Chenoa the daughter of Floyd and Georgia (Buttry) Seal. She married Donald D. Underwood on July 6, 1958 in Pontiac. He passed away on February 18, 1984.  Her parents, two brothers and daughter in-law, Debbie Underwood also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Bobby Underwood, Kim Resler, Brent (Darla Cool) Underwood, Bryan Underwood all of Chenoa; one brother, Larry (Rose) Seal of Chenoa; one sister, Donna Dickerson of Cary, NC; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and her beloved dog "Rollie" who will be lost without her.

Mrs. Underwood was a 1950 graduate of Chenoa High School and worked for over 30 years in the office at Seibert & Son's in Chenoa. She was an avid gardener in her younger years, having some of the most beautiful flower gardens in town.  Ramona was a sweet, hard-working woman who was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
